JANUARY- ONLINE SHiNE INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

This online training is very interactive because we find it extremely important to get to know you and we want all our instructors to develop a connection as well. We will achieve this through the help of a Private Facebook Group and ZOOM (virtual meeting) so it is important that you have access to both these applications.

The training takes place over 3 weeks. You must be signed up for the training at least 72 hours prior to the first ZOOM meeting.

Once you are signed up you will receive the following info.
the starter playlist

• study guide
• video modules
• tutorials
• Links for private Facebook Group
• Links for each of our ZOOM meetings
• Links for you to download the music through iTunes.

You will need to have reviewed the first 3 chapters and video modules prior to our first ZOOM meeting.
Meetings take place at 7PM Mountain Time.

1st ZOOM MEETING- JANUARY 15th

2nd ZOOM MEETING – JANUARY 22nd

Chapter 5 – Fundamental SHiNE Moves
Chapter 6 – Understanding the SHiNE Warm Up
Chapter 7 – Understanding the SHiNE Cool Down

3rd ZOOM MEETING – JANUARY 29th
APPLICATOIN SESSION
Chapter 8 – Pre Class Guidelines & Instructor Checklist
Chapter 9- Structure of the SHiNE Playlist
Chapter 10-What’s Next- How to Get Started.

VIDEO SUBMISSION
Once you have completed Session 1 and 2 you will be asked to submit a video of you leading a warm up and 2 SHiNE routines. We will review the video and send you an evaluation form which will determine if you are ready to start SHiNING.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
Once you have completed the training you will receive a certificate of completion.

CERTIFIED SHiNE INSTRUCTOR
In order to be a Certified SHiNE Instructor you need to:

• Complete the training
• Read and Sign the license agreement
• Sign up for the Instructor Monthly Membership (24.99/month- Must be active in order to teach)

REQUIRMENTS:
-Must be 18 years or older
-Dance experience in not a requirement but it is highly encouraged.
