I currently teach SHiNE™ Dance Fitness at the Collins and Katz Family YMCA in West Los Angeles on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. The moment you step into my class, you know that you can leave what’s going on in your life at the door or take the opportunity to work through it. My classes combine self-empowerment and vulnerability with a whole lot of sweat and booty-shaking. I love teaching SHiNE™ because it's a mood-lifting experience that leaves you feeling capable, confident, and connected to a supportive community. My class is raw, real, silly, wild, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Why I became a SHiNE/UPLIFT Instructor
Having been an AFAA certified fitness instructor for 9 years, with an emphasis on movement to music and cardio dance, SHiNE spoke to me because of the amazing breadth of choreography, and the trust the company places in its instructors to best serve our own communities.
