Hi, I'm Katie! I have been an instructor since December 2022. I first discovered SHiNE on Youtube in 2016, but became a regular participant in early 2021, then was fortunate enough to find in-person classes in the fall of 2021! I had never danced before finding SHiNE, and here I am just a couple of years later, an instructor! SHiNE has completely changed the way I think about myself, and has given me so many precious friendships, and it can do the same thing for you!!

Why I became a SHiNE/UPLIFT Instructor

I always wanted to learn how to dance, but I believed it would never happen for me. I became a SHiNE instructor because I want to help other people gain the confidence to learn how to dance, or even just to participate in a group fitness class, without thinking that they aren't good enough or won't fit in. SHiNE is for everyone!
